The Italian editor Gruppo Albatros, specialised in the publication of new contemporary writers,
announces the International Literary Prize, Nuove Voci, dedicated to poetry
and narrative works in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
The aim of this initiative is
to become a point of reference for emerging international literature.
Participation is free of
charge, the winning works will be translated and published into Italy by the
Gruppo Albatros.

Announces the 1st edition of
the International Literary Prize
Nuove Voci
Expiry date 31 March 2010
Art. 1 - Sections
4 sections are envisioned:
a. Poetry or narrative work,
open subject, in English.
b. Poetry or narrative work,
open subject, in French.
c. Poetry or narrative work,
open subject, in Spanish.
d. Poetry or narrative work,
open subject, in Portuguese.
Art. 2 - Length of the works
Poetry length must be made up
of a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 80 texts.
Narrative works must be made
up of a minimum of 50 pages (each page consists of 1800 characters,
including spaces).
Art. 3 - Judges
The judges are from among the
publisher’s representatives.
Art. 4 - Requirements to
participate
Participation is free and open
to all.
Art. 5 - Conditions for
participation
In order to participate in the
Prize, you just need to send a sample of your own work, by e-mail only, to
the following address:
prize@gruppoalbatros.co.uk
The e-mail must have the
author’s information (name, last name, address and telephone number).
Art. 6 - Expiry
The e-mails containing the
works must be mailed absolutely before Wednesday, 31 March 2010.
Art. 7 - Results
The results will be published
by 30 June 2010, via publication of the names of the winners on this site
and by sending personal communication to all the participants.
Art. 8 - Prizes
The winning works from each
section will be translated into Italian and published in Italy, and their
authors will receive an advance on the royalties of the equivalent of 250.00
Euros.
Art. 9 - Notifications
The judges reserve the right
to notify other deserving authors who could receive an editorial proposal.
Art. 10
Participation in the prize
means automatically accepting all the articles in the present Regulations.
Art. 11
The prize participants accept
the treatment of their personal data.
